How far in advance should I request a quote?
The holiday season can sneak up quickly, and we book on a first come first serve basis. So, the sooner you request your quote, the more time we have to work with you to ensure the desired installation timeframe for your display!
How do I request my quote?
To receive a quote for Christmas lights, please complete the above form on our webpage. Alternatively, give us a call and we can collect your information over the phone.
How long will it take to receive my quote?
We can typically provide a quote within 1-2 business days including a preliminary mockup of your property (if a photo was provided). For larger projects or Municipal RFP’s, a bit longer may be necessary!
How much do professional Christmas lights cost?
LEGACY LIGHTS installations are a premium service. We use the highest quality materials available, employ installers trained by the industry’s best, and are fully insured. Our starting package begins at around $700, and increases based on several factors (time & materials used, complexity, degree of risk, etc.). We provide detailed quotes with different package options so that you know cost well ahead of time. We fully understand this type of service is not for everyone.
Do I need to provide anything?
All we require is clear access to safe and adequate electrical outlets.  As for materials, we provide, install, maintain, remove and store all lights and equipment required. We also include an automated timer, all necessary extension cords, etc.
Can you use the lights I already own?
The short answer is no. At LEGACY LIGHTS  we only install our own equipment and cannot be held liable for any issues related to customer-owned lights. By choosing LEGACY LIGHTS, you can be confident that your home will look its absolute best this and every holiday season. Don’t settle for an un-kept look with lights that are too long, or too short, or damaged in a particular section. Our custom-fitted, commercial-grade Christmas lights will make your home beautiful and leave lasting impressions with all of your guests!
Will my lights be custom?
Yes! All of our C9 LED lights are custom fit to your home which looks amazing! No extra lights stretching across weird gaps or going down the side only partially and looking odd!
Do I need to be home during the installation?
For any exterior lighting, we can install without a homeowner or business owner present. Please just make sure your exterior outlets are functioning properly prior to your installation date. For interior installations at commercial properties, we will require one staff member present to allow access to the facilities.
Do I keep the lights after removal?
LEGACY LIGHTS is selling a service, not the products themselves. We are a premiere Christmas lighting company that offers design, installation, maintenance, removal, and storage of the lighting display. We believe in providing our customers with the very best experience, which is why we do not sell our lights. Instead, we own the entire process of servicing the lights throughout the season, replacing and storing them, and even allowing you to change designs and colors from season to season. It’s important to remember that even the highest-grade quality lights only have a 1-to-3-year warranty. Therefore, it’s common to have to replace bulbs, wire, and other parts from season to season to avoid any electrical risk or quality issues.
How do you attach the lights and decor to my home, trees, etc?
Our team has trained with, and is affiliated with, the industry’s very best. Decades of experience have combined to form our proven application techniques. For rooflines, we use a removable “Tuff” clip that fully hugs each light bulb so that no clips are left behind on your roofline or yard. For fascia outlines, such as brick or stone around windows or entryways, a removable hot glue is used (not on painted or stucco surfaces as this may cause damage). Removable light stakes are used to outline flower beds and walkways. Small removable staples may be used to secure lights outlining garage frames and to secure mini lights on tree wraps (as they may sag due to expansion and contraction during weather changes).  Anchor bolts may be required for the installation of heavier items such as wreaths or garland. This may require drilling holes into masonry, wood, siding, or other materials. In any case, we take great care to protect your property.
What if we experience issues after installation?
LEGACY LIGHTS will test all lighting at the completion of installation and will leave the project fully functional. However, things happen! That’s why we will provide customers with FREE service calls between the install date to December 23rd. Simply l et us know as soon as possible and we will reply within 24 hours to assign a date to make any repairs or replacements. Please note: service fees will apply to repairs that result from the following:

1) Extreme weather conditions such as unusually severe wind, rain, snow and ice.

2) Tampering by animals such as chewing through wires.

3) Changes made by customer such as tethering personal lights to those provided by LEGACY LIGHTS.

4) Resetting timers disconnected from electrical outlet or by losing electrical power at outlet.

5) Missing/damaged products belonging to LEGACY LIGHTS.

How much is the deposit?
A deposit of 50% is required at the time a proposal is accepted. This reserves the equipment necessary for your display and lets us put you in the pipeline for scheduling. The remaining balance is due in full at the time of installation.
Are there any discounts on these services?
We provide discounts for early deposits and early season installs. You must allow us to complete the full installation early for these discounts. However, you do not need to turn the lights on until you are ready to use them. We offer additional discounts for three-season and five-season agreements.
What does scheduling look like for installs/removals?
LEGACY LIGHTS fills their schedule well in advance. With a limited window in the holiday season, we create our schedules based on route optimization to ensure timely delivery of installs. We do not guarantee specific dates, but we do our very best to accommodate the desired timeframes for installation and removal. You will be able you note these preferences during the process of accepting our proposal electronically.  Once added to the schedule, you will be sent a confirmation reminder by text or email about one week prior to installation. Please reply to confirm your receipt of the notification.
